Palliative & end of life home care
Offering companionship and compassion across Hull & East Yorkshire

When someone you love is nearing the end of their life, being at home can bring peace and comfort. At Sirius Homecare, we provide sensitive, non-medical palliative care at home — helping people across Hull, Beverley and the East Riding live their final months, weeks or days with dignity, comfort and compassion in the place they know best.
At Sirius, it’s your home, your life, your choice.
What we mean by palliative home care
Our care team isn’t made up of nurses or medical professionals - but we are experienced in providing non-clinical, practical and emotional support alongside health professionals such as district nurses, palliative care nurses and GPs.
We focus on the everyday care and companionship that help someone feel calm, clean, comfortable and cared for.

What our carers can help with
We're here to support you and here's some of the ways that we can do that.

-
Support for relatives coping with emotional strain or loss
Coordination with professionals
We work closely with community nurses, GPs and Macmillan nurse teams. While we don’t carry out any nursing or clinical tasks, our carers can liaise with professionals to make sure care runs smoothly and respectfully.
Tailored palliative care at home
Every person’s journey is unique. We’ll create a flexible care plan built around individual wishes, comfort levels and family circumstances.
Whether you need short visits to help with washing and meals, or round-the-clock 24/7 care for reassurance and comfort, we’ll adapt our support as things change.
We can help you:
-
Stay at home for as long as possible, surrounded by familiar things
-
Manage day-to-day routines gently and calmly
-
Keep a loved one clean, safe and settled between nurse visits
-
Ensure dignity and privacy at all times
-
Give family carers time to rest, knowing their loved one is in safe hands
