Yes - our trained carers can support clients with complex conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s, stroke, multiple sclerosis, or those requiring more clinical care (stoma care, catheter care etc.). Yes — carers can accompany clients to appointments, assist with mobility, provide support outside the home, and take notes if required. Please see our Transportation & Outings page for more information.

We provide short-term, temporary, or respite care, including post-hospital recovery, family absence support, or general respite for family carers. The minimum time period for a Sirius care package is 6 weeks, and the minimum care requirement is 2 hours per week.

Yes - for safety and legal reasons, we do not perform:

• Clinical/invasive tasks (e.g., injections, wound dressings) without proper authorisation

• Lifting a fallen person without equipment/support

• Handling clients’ bank cards, alcohol, cigarettes, or gambling items

• Outdoor maintenance, window cleaning, or work at height

• Administering non-prescribed medication without GP/pharmacy authorisation

Yes - administration and prompting of medications are included in standard hourly care. Or if needed we can take full responsibility for ordering, collecting, delivering, and disposing of your medications for an additional monthly fee. See our Medication Support page for more information.
