ABOUT SIRIUS HOME CARE - Our Story
We’re a proud, family-run business founded by husband-and-wife team Pete & Chloe
In 2020 - right at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic - we made the life-changing decision to remortgage our home and take out bank loans to bring Sirius Homecare to life. With no staff and no clients, we started with nothing but a shared belief: that we could provide the kind of care we would want for our own loved ones, at a time when it was needed more than ever.
Today, we’re incredibly proud to have grown into a dedicated team of more than 60 care professionals, supporting over 120 families across Hull and the East Riding. What began as a leap of faith has become a community of compassionate people making a real difference, every single day.
OUR MISSION
From day one, our mission has been simple: to deliver the kind of care we’d be proud to give our own loved ones. Too often, people are expected to accept substandard support—and we refuse to let anyone in our community settle for less.
We take the time to truly understand each person we work with, listening to what matters most to them. By tailoring our support around their routines, preferences, and priorities, we ensure the care fits their life - not the other way around.
Family values are what make us different
Because we’re rooted in the local community, we understand the importance of trust, consistency and genuine compassion. We’re not a national chain—we’re your neighbours, your friends, and fellow family carers, committed to helping people across Hull and the East Riding live safely, comfortably and happily in their own homes.
We’re equally proud of the way we support and invest in our dedicated team. Many of our carers go on to achieve recognised qualifications, and we provide specialist training and ongoing support so they have the skills, confidence and reassurance they need to deliver outstanding care. We believe that when our team feels valued and respected, the families we support feel it too.
One of the things we’re most proud of is that so many of our new clients come to us through referrals - both from families who have experienced our care first-hand and from our own staff, who see the quality and compassion we strive for every day. For us, there is no greater compliment or clearer testament to the trust we work so hard to earn.
